With Manchester United knocked out of the Champions League in the Round of 16 and in the FA Cup quarterfinals, expect lots of activity from the Red Devils over the summer exchange screen. They will probably have won the Premier League, but with an undesirable showing in Europe, United will be eager to enhance their team and build on their weaknesses for the near futurea'starting with some possible movers in and out of the membership at the end of the season. Nevertheless, one move that they must maybe not be thinking about trying to make is that of Angel Di Maria, whom United have been linked to lately via Charles Perrin of The Express: Manchester United continue to be in the frame to warning Angel Di Maria in the summer.ADi Maria's future at Real Madrid has been the main topic of much conjecture, as he has discouraged his manager Jose Mourinho with his wavering tasks. UnitedAand Paris Saint Germain are both competing for his signature because they check out bolster their respective squads.AReports in Spain suggest that the two aforementioned clubs are the sole two garments likely to settle a for Di Maria. Real leader Florentino Perez is available to letting Di Maria leave... Though there's little doubting the talent of Di Maria and how good he can be at his most useful, the likelihood that Manchester United follow the Argentinian within the move screen is extremely low. And if there interest, it takes to be entirely avoided for the sake of the present Red Devils group. United have a number of important targeting players and, more importantly, have various alternatives out large on the wings they have used throughout the year. And whilst having detail is necessary, putting in another winger is not likely to help such a thing for United. Michael Regan/Getty Images The Red Devils are already struggling to field every player that they want to at the momenta'adding in another player only is not likely to help that at all. John Rooney has been dropped back once again to more of a fighting main midfielder position this season, which has triggered new signing Shinji Kagawa playing more out on the left flank. That, subsequently, has meant that the loves of Ashley Young, Nani and Antonio Valencia have been required to trade wings right throughout the time and has not given a whole lot to United of persistence. And that is without thinking about the other players who have included on the wings for the Red Devils this year, as WhoScored.com highlights below: Getting still another wingerA( just like he might be) would merely be madness for United, and it's something that they must avoid come early july. Specially given how much they'd have to give up to obtain Di Maria. The Argentinian-international happens to be listed as a A35 million goal based on Transfermarkt, and would certainly see that increase given how important he's to Madrid and the success that they've had throughout Spanish and European competitions this season. Di Maria's power to cut in from the right flank, or attack it to be byline, and guide Los Blancos' attack is crucial to the way they play. Given just how he and Ronaldo transition wings as well, you might almost make the argument he is a simple part of their attack. Alex Livesey/Getty Pictures Madrid aren't going to want to let that go, and if they are, they definitely aren't going to want to let it go for cheap come early july, when they'll be eager to get right back the La Liga title from Barcelona. Ergo United will have to spend large in order to get him, and given the expertise they already have out broad, it is difficult to see that happening. And like we've said, if there is real interest, then it's something that the Red Devils need to think very seriously about going to the new year. They spentAA24 million to bring in Robin van Persie, but even that was a big call for a player with the established track record that Van Persie has in the EPL. To spendAA35-40 million then on some guy who has yet to do so in the English game appears just ridiculous and should not happen. Particularly given the wingers that United already have on hand.
