West Brom midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu has challenged his team-mates to clinch a Premier League defensive record this season.
The Baggies are already intent on finishing with a record number of home wins and points in their Premier League campaign.
But Mulumbu, who has been at the club long enough to remember its reputation for dodgy defending, believes Albion have the perfect opportunity to prove those days are long gone.
Head coach Steve Clarke's eighth-placed team must concede eight goals or fewer in their final six games in order to better the 52 goals they let in during Roy Hodgson's 2011-12 campaign.
"When I first came to West Brom we were a little bit poor defensively. We conceded too many goals. It is another challenge to keep us motivated.
That also explains why Mulumbu is tipping Gareth McAuley and Jonas Olsson to figure prominently in the Player of the Season awards.
McAuley grabbed the first from the Disabled supporters section and Mulumbu added: "Both Jonas and Gareth have been really good.
