Falcao plays down United rumor - FOXSports.com

Atletico Madrid's Radamel Falcao played down talk linking him with a possible go on to Manchester United. Studies coming from Spain a week ago stated United were in pole place to land the in-demand striker this summer while they turn to win the competition for the Colombian. Falcao is one of the most sought-after players in Europe following his goalscoring uses for Atletico with the kind of United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid all credited with a pursuit in his services. Atletico Madrid instructor Diego Simeone declined the speculation of a package being decided with United and today Falcao has distanced herself from the transfer speculation saying he's focused on Atletico. Click here for the top ten. "I do not really know where that information (joining Manchester United) has result from, that is area of the media. "I am concentrated only on Atletico Madrid. I really do not allow the market whispers affect my performance." Turning his attentions to the national team, Falcao admits it is his desire to perform at some Sort Of Cup with Colombia. "That could be the important thing and what everybody else needs in the national team," Falcao mentioned of qualifying for next summer's World Cup finals in Brazil. "The largest dream I've would be to be described as a star and play a World Cup Colombia are currently third in the South American qualifying group and Falcao believes they're well-placed to reach Brazil. "I think we are on course, although it requires a lot in this group," Falcao included. "We have essential games ahead against Peru and Argentina and it's necessary because that could allow us to get nearer to our purpose, which can be qualification" to get great results.
