Detroit Pistons vs. Chicago Bulls: Preview, Predictions and Analysis

The struggling Detroit Pistons can visit the postseason-bound Chicago Bulls in a late-season conflict that features two clubs at opposite ends of the array, on Sunday. The Bulls, though losers on Saturday against Dallas, continue to be fresh away from a momentum-shifting, streak-snapping win over the Miami Heat. They will be hungry to get ground on Indiana, Brooklyn and Atlanta, whilst the fifth-place Hawks stay only a half-game above Chicago heading in to Sunday. At the other end of the court, the Detroit Pistons are battling mightily and are losers of eight of 10, so a win over a playoff team would probably be at least something to construct from moving forward. This will not be a highlight-reel worthwhile point, as both teams stay in the league's bottom 20 percent with regards to crime, but in either case, it's a vital sport for the Bulls as the postseason stretch travel gets underway. Listed here is all of the important data for Sunday's point in Chicago. When:ASunday, Mar. 31 at 7 p.m. ET Where: United Heart, Detroit, Ill. Without Knight and Villanueva on the ground, Monroe will need to be at his better to give the Pistons an attempt at winning, but that's okay taking into consideration the former Georgetown Hoya has three double-doubles in his last four games. He is planning to have to have one of his best activities of the time to pay for Knight's lack against a crew, but Monroe has been dominant as of late for Detroit, and if he's a huge evening, do not count the Pistons out. Bulls Player to Watch: SF Luol Deng As of late, the Bulls have been staying afloat despite Rose's prolonged absence due to the play of Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer, who have each been powerful forces offensively for the Bulls down the stretch. Jonathan Daniel/Getty Pictures In certain, Deng has been particularly reliable for the Bulls recently, because the two-time All-Star set up 28 points to lead Chicago to the upset win over Miami this week, and on Saturday, the former Duke star used down 25 points against Dallas in a losing effort. Deng has been picking up the slack without Rose on the floor all year, but with Noah probably out for Sunday, Boozer will have to be described as a bigger reputation on the defensive side of the ball, adding more bad duty on Deng. Fortuitously for the Bulls, Deng's been everything the Bulls could have hoped for and more this year. Prediction The Pistons' part from here on out is to be a spoiler for postseason-bound teams such as the Bulls, since beyond a pick, Chicago has nothing to play for at this time. Monroe will be good, but Deng, Boozer and Nate Robinson will all have big evenings to simply help Chicago climb back into fifth place in the East. Chicago 87, Detroit 81
