Sunderland set to reduce their skipper Lee Cattermole for many days, while Fulham prepare to welcome back long-term injury victim Simon Davies Getty Sunderland skipper Lee Cattermole faces the outlook of several weeks on the sidelines after picking right up a leg injury. The 24-year-old midfielder will skip tomorrow's Barclays Premier League conflict with Fulham at the Stadium of Light after having an injection in the leg, with director Martin O'Neill acknowledging surgery might be required if that does not solve the problem. Full-back Danny Rose is likely to go back to training next week after aggravating a hamstring strain which has been addressed at parent team Tottenham. Fulham's Simon Davies has overcome a knee injury and could play his first game in almost a year at Sunderland tomorrow. Other midfielders Kerim Frei and Kieran Richardson have recovered from their respective pelvis and calf incidents but Mahamadou Diarra (leg) is going. Small midfielder Buomesca Tue Na Banga and Ajax loanee Eyong Enoh may also be available after knee injuries.
