Ed Reed Thanks Baltimore Ravens Fans in Full-Page Advertising

It will be very odd to see Ed Reed wearing a Texans jersey after paying the past eleven months as a part of the Baltimore Ravens, however the future Hall of Famer at the least is departing with school. On Sunday, Reed took out a ad in the Baltimore SunAthanking fans, the city of Baltimore and the business for several of these support throughout the years. It reads as follows: Ravens Nation, My eleven months in Baltimore were more than I would have everAimagined, I have such strong love for you all which is. I'll foreverAcherish my time with the Ravens and the chills that went down my spineAwhen the Lombardi Trophy was finally kissed by me. Special because of all of the Fans, Team, Organization and the City! I'm goingAto miss being a part of this team and organization, but I willAalways be Baltimore and my Foundation may stay static in this community,Athis isn't a goodbye, but a See You Soon. Thank you for anything Baltimore, God Bless you. Edward REED #20 Earlier this week, Reed signed a, $15 million contract with the Texans. It had been a pretty good haul for the 34-year-old, and plainly more than the Ravens were prepared to invest to help keep among the best people in franchise history. For his profession, Reed has 61 interceptions, 10 fumbles recovered and eight defensive touchdowns. He was the 2004 Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year, has been chosen into nine Pro Bowls, is a five-time First-Team All-Pro and has only did not perform a full 16 games in the normal time 3 x. Without question, he'll be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. His departure may be the latest in a lengthy list for Baltimore in 2010. Broad receiverAAnquan Boldin was dealt to the San Francisco 49ers,Alinebacker Paul Kruger signed with the Cleveland Browns, linebackerADannell Ellerbe signed with the Miami Dolphins, cornerback Cary Williams signed with the Philadelphia Eagles and protection Bernard Pollard was cut. Oh, and Ray Lewis retired. There will not be many familiar faces on Baltimore's protection next time, and Joe Flacco might enjoy his new agreement but he will truly be lamenting the increased loss of Boldin. However the failures of Lewis and Reed will be thought probably the most. The couple led Baltimore to two Super Bowl wins and often kept the Ravens' safety together of the NFL's most fearsome products. It's been a rough offseason for Ravens' fans, but at the very least Reed can leave them with his gratitude and appreciation for the final 11 years. He gave Baltimore lots of good times, and in accordance with Reed, the town and Ravens' organizationAreturned the benefit.
