NCAA Area Picks: Predictions for March Chaos' Late Night Slate

So much fuss is manufactured over seeing the NCAA Tournament during work hours, however late-night March Madness viewing could be a lot more unfavorable to work production that any inactivity in the office. For people who will undoubtedly be staying up past midnight to find Shabazz Muhammad try to carry his team past the second round, take some forecasts to home for the entire late-night shift. No. 8 Vermont vs. No. 9 Villanova, TNT, 7:20 p.m. ET Streeter Lecka/Getty Images Both Wildcats and Tar Heels want to get up and down a floor, increasing their chances to score using their guard-heavy lineups. While Villanova brings age and experience in this matchup, North Carolina offers the important thing skill edge inside. Expect James Michael McAdoo to have the main element difference manufacturer and a large influence inside on the boards. View for P.J. Hairston to stretch the lead from beyond the arc as well. Pick: New York No. 7 San Diego St. Compared to. No. 10 Oklahoma, TBS, 9:20 p.m. ET Rob Bottari/Getty Pictures While San Diego St. sputters to the event, they have the best player on the ground in senior Jamaal Franklin. The Aztecsa star isn't any stranger to NCAA Tournament teams, rating 27 points and grabbing eight rebounds over both Colorado State and UNLV. Not forgetting the Aztecs provide wins over New Mexico, UCLA and Boise State. On one other aspect, Oklahoma doesnat have the firepower inside to fight Franklin and Co. Pick: San Diego St. No. 7 Notre Dame vs. No. 10 Iowa State, CBS, 9:45 p.m. ET Al Bello/Getty Pictures While Iave been a Dame enthusiast from afar, the Fighting Irish come in matchup trouble with the Cyclones. The Cyclones would be the countryas No. 1 three point-shooting team (shots attempted) and will contrast with Mike Breyas inside-scoring rule. The contest is filled with three-point groups getting hot so Jerian Grant and Pat Connaughton may somehow have to maintain. Iam not simply because happening. Pick: Iowa State No. 6 UCLA vs. No. 11 Minnesota, truTV, 9:57 p.m. ET Jason Szenes/Getty Images This game will be a accurate test of the Big Ten's energy as one of these mid-tier groups will make an effort to knock off the Pac-12's best. Minnesota boasts multiple athletic major figures inside that will try to turn the game into a brawl inside. In the meantime, all eyes will undoubtedly be on Shabazz Muhammad to hold the Bruins in the wake of Jordan Adamsa harm. I'll get Rodney Williams and Tubby Smith when it's all said and done. Pick: Minnesota Follow Robert Shiekman for more NCAA Competition picks on Facebook.
