"From the very first second of the second half we saw a big change of attitude. We did not get because of the alterations, that have been made in the twelfth minute of the second half, but because of the change we made. It had been the attitude of all participants that started the comeback.
"It holds true that honestly he [Kaka] is playing well. His state of mind assists him and this is important for the staff, that he's another option and that he is playing well. That is always positive.
Kaka's performance also earned the reward of assistant coach Aitor Karanka, who was simply happy with the result of the squad after going behind to a Riki reach on 35 minutes.
