Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini has denied there is any deal in place for him to become the new Manchester City manager.

Reports have claimed that Roberto Mancini will be sacked as City boss within the next 24 hours and Spanish sports Daily AS had named Pellegrini as his successor.

He added: "Nothing has been signed and no agreement reached. I've been fortunate enough, and very proud, that every year the big clubs are interested in me.
